Catechesis of the Good Shepherd

Classes Begin September 18.

Catechesis of the Good Shepherd is an Archdiocesan approved faith formation program that uses a Montessori approach for children 3 year old – 7th grade. Children meet in a permanent prepared environment called an “atrium” and discover their faith through Scripture and Liturgy. Classes are made up of mixed age groups according to the child’s needs:

Level I for 3 to 6 year olds
Level II for 6 to 9 year olds
Level III for 9 to 13 year olds

Two classes are available on Sunday in the D’Youville Center. Early time 9:40a.m.-11:10a.m. and late time 11:20a.m.-12:50p.m.

Children receiving their Sacraments prepare through study of the moral parables, extended discovery of the Eucharist and through special retreats.
