The CDC has updated their mask guidelines with regard to Covid19 and fully vaccinated persons. The update summarizes that fully vaccinated people no longer need to wear a mask or socially distance while indoors. The CDC confirmed that all those unvaccinated should continue to wear a mask indoors to protect themselves and to protect vulnerable others who may be unable to get vaccinated due to age or a serious health condition. We no longer require vaccinated parishioners to wear a mask in the Church, in parish buildings, or on the grounds outside. We will rely on people’s honesty and self-regulation, as we cannot ask for personal health information. We have also removed pew barriers in the Church providing for greater capacity at our indoor Masses.
In addition, in our ongoing efforts to provide a clean, healthy environment on our campus, we are happy to announce that our Church and our Ministry building have been outfitted with a new air filtration system. This new system uses patented ion technology to clean indoor air by filtering out dust, pollen, mold, bacteria, and viruses and has been proven to reduce virus activity by 90% or more.
