On Saturday, July 9th, Saint Jude the Apostle hosted a
Prayer Service for Healing and Peace
. Members from the Dunwoody and Sandy Springs police departments were in attendance. Pastor Monsignor Joe Corbett read the response from the US Conference of Catholic Bishops. The full statement,
Let Us Gather at the Cross
, can be read
Also in attendance were many parishioners from Saint Jude, as well as members from the community. Deacon Ray Egan gave a moving homily about the works of the devil in our society and the need for our diligence to overcome such evil and hatred.
We wish to thank all those who attended and participated.
May God Bless our country during these times of trials.
