IOH Giving Tree in Church Vestibule

Choose an ornament through Christmas to help Interfaith Outreach Home (IOH), a ministry of our parish that empowers homeless, working families to achieve self-sufficiency. Founded in the 1980s by our parish along with several other churches and synagogues, IOH houses families and gives them the necessary tools to grow savings, give their children stability, and ultimately purchase their own homes. Each of these families has a full-time working adult who desires to achieve what most of us already have – a stable home life for their family. The most valuable gift you can give to the families of IOH this Christmas is the opportunity to break the cycle of poverty and achieve stability. You can do so with our IOH Giving Tree by contributing to the costs of housing and serving these families. By ensuring the sustainability of IOH, you give the most precious gifts of all to families in crisis: Hope, Haven & Healing.

Advent Resources

See our Advent Resources page to learn about programs, videos, books etc. to help you wait and prepare for the coming of our Lord. During the four weeks of Advent, we prepare for the celebration of Christ’s birth through prayer and reflection. We contemplate the First Coming of Jesus as Savior, and anticipate his promised Second Coming. And amid the flurry of Christmas preparations, we look for practical ways to observe the holiness of the season in our everyday lives.
