Coordinator of Adult Education (Part-Time)

We are seeking a part-time Coordinator of Adult Education, a 25 hour a week position. Saint Jude is a vibrant, active parish. We are looking for a candidate with a passion for and thorough knowledge of the Catholic faith.  This position collaborates with the Director of Religious Education, leads the RCIA program & adult sacramental preparation, develops and coordinates adult faith formation classes, enrichment programs, and workshops that support lifelong learners of the faith.  Candidates should demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills. This position requires a flexible schedule that includes working some weekends, evenings, and Holy Days to support the programming of the Church. Qualified candidates will be a practicing Catholic, committed to the teachings of the Church, hold a B.A. in Theology or Religious Studies, possess a Certification as a Catechetical Leader, and/ or have experience in teaching or pastoral ministry with catechetical knowledge. Administrative Assistant – Religious Education (Part-Time)

We are seeking a part-time Administrative Assistant for the Religious Education Department, 25-hours a week. This position works closely with the Director of Religious Education and the RE staff, assisting with program registrations, sacramental records, volunteer tracking, and parish recordkeeping; along with general department administrative support that includes preparing for retreats, missions, sacraments & events.  Candidates must be proficient in Microsoft Office and able to learn parish database software. The position requires the ability to multi-task and manage details.  A bilingual Spanish speaker is a preference. Qualified applicants will possess: a minimum of a two-year associates degree, 3-5 years’ experience in a similar professional office setting, and knowledge of the Roman Catholic faith.
