Saint Jude the Apostle Catholic Church, located in Sandy Springs, Georgia seeks a full-time Facilities Maintenance Technician. This position requires a basic working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems, the ability to do room set-ups, and perform minor carpentry, painting, and repairs. The maintenance tech works closely with the Director of Facilities, and parish maintenance staff. A 40-hour week, typically M – F, flexibility is required for occasional weekends, evening, or emergency call work. Qualified candidates should be reliable, well organized, and have at least three years’ experience in a maintenance field. Must possess a valid driver’s license, have reliable transportation appropriate to this type of work, be in good physical condition, able to climb an extension ladder, and lift to 50lbs. Our parish nursery is looking to hire those who enjoy caring for God’s youngest angels, ages 4 months to 5 years old. There are opportunities to work Sunday mornings and occasionally other weekday or evening times. Eligible applicants are age 18 or older with babysitting experience.
