This full-time position collaborates with the Religious Ed team, Pastor, and our Middle School Youth Coordinator to develop and integrate faith formation and youth ministry initiatives serving our high school teens through our Life Teen program. The youth minister manages the Life Nights, Core Team development, Youth Retreats, and high school service projects, and assists with the Confirmation Program. This position requires a flexible work schedule to accommodate evenings, and weekends, including overnight retreats. The ideal candidate has excellent organization and communication skills, high energy, takes initiative, and can relate well with teens. This position uses communication outlets including the parish bulletin, parish emails, the website, electronic monitors, pulpit announcements, video presentations, the parish App, social media, banners, signs, press releases, and any other means of communication, as necessary. This position also uses many forms of communications technology including but not limited to WordPress, Gravity Forms, Constant Contact, Parish Soft, Vanco, and YouTube. This position plans menus and meals, shops for food and supplies, keeps pantry stocked, maintains appropriate kitchen equipment, manages a budget, and provides lunch service Monday through Friday for the clergy of the house. The position handles the overall cleanliness of the rectory, keeping an orderly, tidy house by following a regular cleaning schedule. Various duties include vacuuming, dusting, mopping, dishwashing, laundry, and ironing. This position requires a cheerful, friendly disposition. Proficiency needed in food safety preparation and cooking, with a minimum of 2-5 years of experience in restaurant, hotel, or hospitality food service. Sunday Nursery Staff – Do you enjoy working with young children? Our parish nursery is looking to hire those who enjoy caring for God’s youngest angels, ages 4 months to 5 years old. There are opportunities to work Sunday mornings and occasionally other weekday or evening times. Eligible applicants are age 18 or older with babysitting experience.
