Catechesis of the Good Shepherd (CGS) is a form of religious education that emphasizes the cultivation of a relationship between the child and Jesus, the Good Shepherd.  Using scripture and sensorial materials, children are guided by specially trained catechists in a prepared environment called The Atrium, through lessons that allow them to encounter and reflect on their relationship with Jesus.  For more information about Catechesis of the Good Shepherd, please click here.

Catechist Training:

We are fortunate to have a dedicated Atrium space at Saint Jude the Apostle; however, we are in need of individuals who are trained, or in training, as catechists in order to keep our program robust and continue to grow.

If you are interested in learning more about how to become a catechist, or the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd Program, please contact Megan Hakerem at cgs@judeatl.com
