2025 is the Jubilee Holy Year, the 2,025th anniversary of the Incarnation of our Lord. The concept of “Jubilee” originates in the Book of Leviticus (chapter 25) as a special year in which God redeemed, released, returned, and granted rest to His people. Pope Francis has designated this year as a time to renew ourselves as “Pilgrims of Hope”.

Join us for our Lenten Study as we journey through “Jesus and the Jubilee: The Biblical Roots of the Year of God’s Favor“ by Dr. John Bergsma. We look forward to sitting at the feet of a leading scholar as we unpack what the Lord has in store for us in the year of Jubilee. Each week we will listen to the Abiding Faith podcast that accompanies the book and discuss that week’s topic.

We also plan to visit one of the local churches Archbishop Gregory has designated as a pilgrimage site to prepare for the plenary indulgences we can receive by attending Mass, praying, and walking through the pilgrim doors. The book can be purchased HERE or HERE
