Seven Last Words of Christ

Good Friday, 12:00 pm – 1:45 pm

On Good Friday, we relive Christ’s last words with this powerful tradition. Seven of our parishioners and clergy will give a reflection on each of the “words” or phrases Christ spoke as he was on the cross. Together with scripture readings, music, and personal prayer time, this service will transform your Lenten experience.

Reflections for 2026

First Word – Deacon Gary Schantz
“Father, forgive them, they know not what they do.”

Fourth Word – John Summers
“My God, My God, why have you forsaken me?”

 Fifth Word – Victoria Farmer
“I thirst.”
