Tenebrae, Morning Prayers

Good Friday and Holy Saturday 9:00 am in the Church

Tenebrae (Latin for “shadows”) is a communal celebration held on the mornings of Good Friday and Holy Saturday.  This traditional prayer of the Church incorporates hymns, Psalms, scripture readings, writings of the saints and intercessory prayers as a means of prayerfully meditating on the solemn events recalled during the Holy Triduum.
