Walking with Moms in Need

Walking With Moms in Need (WWMIN) is a service ministry in which Catholic parishes walk with local pregnant and parenting women in need. It is a nationwide effort inspired by St. John Paul II’s call to assess our efforts in building a culture of life. The intention of WWMIN at Saint Jude is to guide mothers facing challenging pregnancies and those parenting young children in need, towards services and resources available and to welcome and surround them with our love.

Some ways to get involved:
Join a “Care Team”
Donate clothing and gently used baby items
Provide occasional meals
Host a baby shower
Share your gifts as a handyman or truck driver or resume builder, etc.

Please join us on Thursday, April 28 at 7:00 pm in the Stapleton Center to learn more about WWMIN and how you can get involved.  Our guest speaker will be Cathy Schneider, who heads up WWMIN at St. Brigid Catholic Church.  She will share the success stories their parish has had and ideas on how we can grow our ministry at Saint Jude.  Bring a roll of baby shower wrapping paper and help us wrap gifts for a Mom who has chosen life.
